Improving your research competitiveness

Build your campus cyberinfrastructure with a winning NSF proposal (CC*, MRI, CCRI)

Presented by Dr. Greg Monaco & Dr. Rick McMullen

August 4, 2021, at 1 pm ET

As an IT leader on your campus you know that productivity and competitiveness for many researchers depend heavily on access to computing, data, storage and network connectivity resources. The National Science Foundation recognizes this and provides support for developing campus research IT infrastructure through several programs: the Campus Cyberinfrastructure (CC*) program, the Major Research Instrumentation (MRI) program, and the CISE Community Research Infrastructure (CCRI) program. These programs provide an opportunity for higher education institutions to plan and upgrade their networking and computational infrastructure for research and education with grant amounts ranging between $50,000 and $5M.

This webinar is aimed at higher education IT leads, researchers and STEM educators, and those who assist in the proposal development process. It will help you understand the key points needed to write a competitive proposal to the programs listed above including the NSF Campus Cyberinfrastructure program (NSF 21-528) due October 11, 2021.

Your presenters, Research Advisors, have a strong track record of successfully turning client’s ideas into funded projects. Join us for this webinar and find out how you can use this NSF program to build your campus cyberinfrastructure in support of research and teaching.
